'Connection with a Purpose' Mental Health Event

Young and not-as-young can come to Milton City Park and Preserve from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, for a family-friendly event focused on mental wellness.

This gathering – "Connection with a Purpose," run by professionals from JCACounseling – aims to help people break the ice on tough, yet critically important topics in a warm, welcoming, comfortable environment. Experts will offer insights and tips related to teen anxiety, suicide prevention, and emotional regulation, with presentations on each spaced out throughout the event.

Regardless, attendees can come in (and leave) anytime in the 4-hour window to converse one-on-one with experts, browse relevant materials, and participate in fun activities inside and outside the beautiful park and its community center. These will include fall-themed arts and crafts, yard games, bubbles, exploring MCPP’s greenspace, and -- for those who register in advance via this linkhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/connection-with-a-purpose-tickets-1665720738569 -- a free barbeque lunch.
