MCPP Trail Grand Opening

The Trail Grand Opening at Milton City Park and Preserve will run from 9 a.m. to noon in the park at 1785 Dinsmore Road. This is a public celebration of MCPP’s expanded trail project, which created a 2.5-mile loop, added a pier and boardwalks, and features additional upgrades to support wildlife habitats.

One of this event’s highlights will be a Trail Mix Hike, in which people can pick up trail mix ingredients (think granola, M&Ms, pretzels, dried cranberries, etc.) between 9 and 11 a.m. or while supplies last. Attendees can also get the buzz on bees from the Milton Bee Club, take home a tree seedling, create crafts, get a balloon twisted, have their face painted, and more.  And they can also pick-up budding wildflowers grown by students in Cambridge High School’s agriculture program to plant on their own properties.
