City Employees GroupThank you for your interest in joining the City of Milton!

While there are excellent public servants most everywhere, as well as great places to work, we pride ourselves in being the very best of the best. According to the National Community Survey comparing cities nationwide, Milton ranked in the top 3% or better when it comes to acting in the community’s best interests, being honest and transparent, as well as confidence in Milton’s government and its direction. Most impressive of all, Milton rated No. 1 out of 385 local governments in overall service by their government’s employees. And in 2025, Milton was crowned a "National Champion" for transformation when it comes to Trust in Government. These findings are based on views of those who matter most: citizens. So not only does Milton have outstanding employees, its team works in a community that truly appreciates and embraces them.

In addition to working in this positive, supportive environment, City of Milton employees enjoy highly competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and opportunities to be innovative, engage, and make a difference. It is an exciting time to be part of Team Milton!

Teenagers looking for an enriching, uplifting, and potentially life-changing summer experience can apply to a Counselor in Training, or CIT, at Camp Joyful Soles.

At Camp Joyful Soles, participants with special needs and between the ages of 13 and 22 play, learn, and connect with fellow campers and, importantly, the caring camp team. Counselors in Training, or CITs, are a key part of that, working together to ensure campers have the best, safest experience possible. This includes having a part in arts and crafts; games, music, art and drama therapy, and visits from special guests. It takes place from June through the end of July -- with a week-off around Independence Day -- at Mill Springs Academy.
