Milton’s popular Touch-a-Truck returns on September 7 – bigger, better, and more bodacious than ever!
Last year’s inaugural event drew about 4,000 people to the Stonecreek Church parking lot. The 2024 edition will feature more vehicles, more activities, more food, and more fun – all of which adds up to more reason to bring your family (and potentially an even bigger crowd).
Staged by the City of Milton and Stonecreek Church, this upcoming Touch-a-Truck will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. that Saturday. The activities will be centered around the church at 13540 Highway 9, though parking there is limited. Instead, people can try parking in public spots near Milton’s Public Safety Complex (13690 Highway 9) or at King’s Ridge Christian School (2765 Bethany Bend), where they can ride a shuttle to the venue; King’s Ridge is your best bet if you want to be more assured of an available parking spot.
Once there, attendees can explore the stars of the show – the trucks and other vehicles. These include favorites from last year like an excavator, moving truck, ambulance, as well as Police and Fire vehicles. There will also be several new ones on hand, including a:
- Party bus
- Tesla Cybertruck
- Monster truck
- Oscar Mayer Wienermobile
- Fulton County law enforcement helicopter

That’s not to mention two new trucks that double as fun hubs – one where you can play video games and another featuring a golf simulator.
Other activities include giant inflatables, face painting, balloon animals, arts and crafts, and dancing to a DJ spinning tunes.
In between all this exploring and playing, attendees can snag a spot at a picnic table to chow down on lunch from Tacos and Tequilas (for Mexican fare), Dogs on Wheels (more All-Americans), Eggroll Boyz (a multicultural bonanza), and Urban Wings (with chicken wings). If you or your child can savor sweet, cool treat from King of Pops or Kona Ice.
The City offers a special thanks not just to Stonecreek Church but all the sponsors who are helping make this event possible.
