A fresh coat of paint can work wonders. Which means Bell Memorial Park should become even more wonderful starting next week.
While that happens, people should know that some parts of the park may not be fully accessible to the public at all times.
Workers from CertaPro Painters are expected to start this project on Tuesday, September 3. They will paint the outsides of all four buildings (including the restrooms) within the park, as well as football goalposts, baseball field and batting cage foul poles, handrails, and scoreboard posts. The hope is that they’ll be finished within 2 weeks, though a number of factors (starting with wet weather) could push back that timeline.
This being wet paint and all, it’s possible that some of Bell Park’s features won’t be usable while the paint is applied and then dried.
The same company also will repaint the front porch at Bethwell Community Center, another Milton Parks and Recreation facility, in the same general timeframe.
