Part of the Milton City Park and Preserve trail – the western end, just past the bend behind the Community Center – will be closed Thursday and Friday as crews make improvements there.

Specifically, the storm drain system that goes under that portion of the trail will be removed and then built back safely. As with most construction projects, weather and other factors could push back the timeline. Still, whatever does happen (and the corresponding trail closure) shouldn’t last too long.

 

This mini-project comes at the same time workers are upgrading other parts of MCPP’s greenspace. Over the coming months, they’ll create new trails, improve stormwater systems, and enhance wildlife habitat.
