Best. One. Yet.
Mother Nature certainly did her part, with plenty of sun mixed in with puffs of clouds. Crabapple Road came alive with an awesome assortment of vendors selling everything from hanging pots to strum-worthy banjos (made out of cake pans!), not to mention jewelry, candles, and a whole lot more. Those who came hungry had the opportunity to leave full and happy after enjoying from a tasty mix of options for warm lunches, cool treats, refreshing beverages, and plenty in between.
The 2024 edition of Crabapple Fest may have felt different than years past because of its expanded footprint, which allowed for a little more elbow room. The City Hall parking lot transformed into a hub of children’s fun including a pirate ride, carnival games, sand art, a big “corn maze” inflatable, balloon art, plus fun music to keep the crowds dancing. Across Heritage Walk, the Green was a great hang-out spot and home for lawn games followed by the UGA’s victory later on the big screen. Not far
away in Crabapple Market’s gravel lot, Kid Biz Expo featured more young vendors than ever before selling unique creations and products, all while gaining valuable experience in marketing, sales, and running a business.
Of course, Crabapple Fest is always the definition of family-friendly fun – and this year certainly did not disappoint. There was face-painting, giant bubbles, even attendees’ stirring karaoke performances at the Milton’s Got Talent booth. Once again, the front porch of Crabapple Family Dentistry rocked all day with exceptional musicians. And Crabapple Fest is always the perfect event to run into friends and neighbors, shop, eat, and check out the businesses at the festival and in Milton’s downtown!
No wonder several people left with the impression that this was, indeed, the best Crabapple Fest to date. A huge THANK YOU to all who came out Saturday!
