In what’s become an annual tradition just like Carvin’ in Crabapple, part of Broadwell Road will close to vehicular traffic for several hours this coming Saturday because of this family-friendly Halloween event.
Broadwell Road will be shut down from 2 to 8 p.m. on October 19 (allowing a little time for set-up and clean-up of an event that itself goes from 4 to 7 p.m.). That’s a little later than typical since we have bumped the event to a little later, hoping to catch more customed kids after their Saturday activities while also providing a special, outdoor viewing party for all for that afternoon’s Alabama vs. Tennessee game.
Detours will direct traffic around Carvin’ in Crabapple, with the action once again revolving around Broadwell Pavilion. So give yourself extra time to get around or, better yet, take an alternate route to start.
Even if you’re driving around one of the open roads in Milton’s downtown, like Crabapple Road or Mayfield Road, please use extra caution as there will be lots of families walking around.
Thank you, in advance, for your understanding and patience!
