Milton City Hall is where we work. But it really belongs to our citizens, which is why we love to show it off – especially to our younger residents.
To facilitate that, we have created a special webpage for people/groups to enter basic information so we can arrange tours. You can find it, and fill out the corresponding form, HERE: www.miltonga.gov/CityHallTours.
For youth groups, a trip to City Hall isn’t just a brief pop-in inside the lobby. Rather, it typically features age-appropriate explanations of how our City government works, mock City Council meetings (for those in 3rd grade and older) in which children assume the roles of Mayor and Councilmembers to tackle captivating and imaginary issues, back-and-forth engagement with City staff and leaders, and – after all that – a guided walk-through of City Hall.
There’s a lot that goes into it, in other words, so it’s very helpful to collect as much necessary information ahead of time as possible. That’s exactly what the form on this new webpage does. So if you’re part of a school or youth group that would like to explore Milton government’s home, please start by going to www.miltonga.gov/CityHallTours. And if you have questions, email City Clerk Tammy Lowit at tammy.lowit@miltonga.gov.
