Pancakes with Santa registration opens Oct. 30 for Milton residents

Post Date:10/22/2024 10:22 AM

Pancakes-With-Santa_FBEvent_2024Before you know it, Pancake Breakfast with Santa – and, with it, the Christmas season – will be here. And so will most every element of this Milton tradition that our residents know and love.

After considering a few tweaks, we’ve decided to go back to the basics starting with a free breakfast featuring pancakes cooked up by Milton firefighters. The event will be from 8 to 11 a.m. (so one hour longer than in the past) on Saturday, December 14, once again at Fire Station 44 at 13690 Highway 9. And, like last year, families can sign-up to reserve spots in line to get pictures taken with Santa Claus himself. (Only one registration per family – equating to one photo with St. Nick – is needed.)

Those reservations open up at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30 – for Milton residents only – at www.miltonga.gov/Registration. The morning of Nov. 20, Santa spots will open to those outside Milton if there are any remaining.

On that webpage (which is also https://secure.rec1.com/GA/city-of-milton/catalog), you can click on “Milton Holiday Events” and go from there. Those who don’t have a Milton registration account already might want to get themselves set up now, as spots-to-see-Santa are sure to fill up fast.

October 30 is also when we’ll open up “tickets” for Tea Party with Mrs. Claus. These tickets are free, too, and will get you the opportunity to hear from the one-and-only Mrs. Claus (she’ll literally be reading some stories). You can also enjoy warm drinks and light breakfast foods at this event from 9 to 11 a.m. on December 23.

Tea Party with Mrs. Claus is new to Milton. Pancakes with Santa, on the other hand, has been one of our favorite opportunities for years for firefighters to host members our awesome community and for everyone to spend time with Santa Claus.

We can’t wait to serve up heaping servings of holiday cheer in less than two months!
