Join fellow veterans, their families, and our keynote speaker – a Milton High School alumnus with multiple overseas tours as an aviator – the morning of Saturday, Nov. 9, for a special breakfast in honor of those who have served in the U.S. military.
If you and/or your family is interested in coming, please email
rsvp@miltonga.gov by 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 7. The event begins two days later, on a Saturday, at 8 a.m. at City Hall.
Community always is at the forefront of the Milton Veterans Breakfast. Community in the sense of camaraderie with fellow veterans who understand each other in ways others do not. And community in the sense of being part of a city that truly embraces and appreciates its veterans.

So it’s only appropriate LtCol Jeff Davis will deliver the main remarks that Saturday morning. Having graduated from Milton High in 1990 (and the University of Georgia four years later), Davis served for 23 years in the U.S. Marine Corps until his 2018 retirement. After being designated as a Naval Aviator in 1998 and serving in several CH-53 squadrons in various capacities (including Commanding Officer), Davis twice was deployed twice to Iraq (in 2003 and 2006-2007) as well as twice to Asia-the Pacific supporting numerous humanitarian operations.
Davis served on several staff tours in different roles, such as Heavy Lifts Requirement Officer in Marine Aviation at the Pentagon and Plans Chief for the Marine Corps National Capital Region Command (around the Washington, D.C., area). Since his retirement, he returned home to North Fulton where he’s worked and been active in, yes, the community – including as President of the Rotary Club of Alpharetta.
