The next edition of Milton’s Citizens Government Academy kicks off early next year – and we would love for you to be a part of it.

Local government is unique and important in the many ways it impacts people’s lives, as well as the many ways those same citizens can impact government. Our Citizens Government Academy allows attendees the opportunity to enhance their knowledge, engage firsthand with government officials, and get to know others who similarly care deeply about Milton’s present and future.

And the City is currently accepting applications for its 2025 class! To apply, please go to www.miltonga.gov/CGA, read about the program, fill out the form, and press submit. There are only 20 spots available and these typically fill up, so consider signing up as soon as possible.

Participants should live or work in Milton and be eager to learn more about it. Every Tuesday evening from February 4 through March 25 – so that’s eight weeks, with each session lasting 2 to 2.5 hours – you’ll visit different City facilities and speak with people from all across Milton’s government about what they do, why they do it, and how our community is vital to the government’s success.
