Fun, activities, sweets galore at upcoming Milton Community Egg Hunt

Post Date:03/11/2025 10:59 AM

#EH_Field and parents along perimeterIn just a few weeks, the Milton Community Egg Hunt will usher in spring with fun, food, activities, and, of course, candy-filled eggs.

The 2025 edition of this popular family-friendly event – jointly run by the City and Stonecreek Church – will occur between 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 29. (A sensory-friendly egg hunt will happen at 3 p.m. that same day, intentionally before the arrival of the full-on hubbub.) Unless there’s severe weather like thunderstorms, the Community Egg Hunt will happen rain or shine.

Once again, the festivities will center around Cambridge High School’s football field. This can be accessed on foot from CHS’s parking lot (2845 Bethany Bend) or Milton’s Public Safety Complex (13690 Highway 9). Attendees can park at Cambridge High, at Stonecreek Church, or at King’s Ridge Christian School (with shuttles transporting people back-and-forth from the latter location).

True to its name, the egg hunts annually highlight this community celebration. There will be several occurring every half-hour starting at 4:30 p.m., with groupings determined by the egg hunters’ age. Young participants will have the opportunity to fill their baskets with eggs strewn over the CHS turf field.

But that’s not the only way your child (or you) can satisfy their appetites. The whole family can get dinner from the Taco Man food truck or sweets from Funnel Cake Boys, #EH_FacepaintingKona Ice shaved ice, King of Pops popsicles, Eskimo Kisses ice cream, and Lush Trends cotton candy. Sisters Lemonade and Sodaddy (with fun soda mixes), meanwhile, will offer beverages.

There will be plenty of other fun stuff to do besides eat, drink, and hunt, too. These include face painting, twisted balloons, dancing to tunes spun by an on-site DJ, or even taking selfies with the Easter Bunny (who arrives around 4:15 p.m. in a ride provided by Main Street Limo). Giant inflatables will be set up, divided by age for kids’ safety and fun, as well as a rock climbing wall compliments of Camp Arrowhead – the Christian-themed adventure camp for rising kindergarteners through 6th graders that calls Stonecreek Church home.

The top-tier EGGstravagant sponsors include the Reid Casey real estate team and Painted Horse Winery and Vineyards, which is bringing its decorated horse trailer to the event. We’re thankful to them and our EGGcellent mid-level Sponsors at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Roswell, NOVA Chiropractic,  Stable Orthodontics, and Superior Indoor Comfort, as well as the support from Total Health Solutions.
