'Meet the Neighbors' looking for vendors for equestrian-themed event

Post Date:03/25/2025 1:27 PM

Girl RiderReady for your business or organization to meet the neeeeeighbors with the emphasis on the neigh, as in those who love horses and everything about them?

Well, now is your chance by registering to be a vendor at the City’s annual event for all things equestrian, called (not coincidentally) Meet the Neighbors. To do so, follow this link: https://www.eventeny.com/events/meet-the-neighbors-2025-17229/.

This year’s event (assuming Mother Nature cooperates) will happen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the City’s 21-acre pasture-filled greenspace at the corner of Freemanville and Birmingham roads. While that’s many weeks away, the City needs to start planning now – which is why the vendor application deadline is Monday, March 31.

All those who will have spaces should have some equestrian connection – such as selling something horses or riders might want; horse-themed décor, clothing, art, or other paraphernalia; or another good or service that appeal to people in this community. (Food trucks are welcome, too, though that goes through a separate application.) If you have questions or are not sure if you’d qualify, contact the City’s Community Outreach Manager Emily Salerno at Emily.Salerno@miltonga.gov.

Previous editions have drawn scores of people to this natural space where they rubbed elbows with each other, mingled with animals (horses included, of course!), and browsed items and services at various tables. Unlike other events like this, there’s no fee to apply or to be a vendor. There’s a limited amount of spots, and those who are accepted must bring their own tent and other supplies.
