Cambridge High School’s football field filled with thousands of candy-filled eggs along with thousands of people eager to snatch them – not to mention one very popular Bunny – at this weekend’s annual Milton Community Egg Hunt.

The “egg hunts” – 16 in all, if you count the Sensory-Sensitive Hunt prior to the main festivities plus three simultaneous ones (with the field split up by age) every half-hour – were just part of the fun at Saturday’s event. From face-painting to food trucks, from twisty balloon animals to giant inflatables to bounce on, there was plenty to do for the hundreds of families who attended. And Mother Nature even cooperated (aside from the thick pollen that we all dealt with this weekend).

The revamped “hunt” schedule and reconfigured footprint to maximize the use of the parking lot area (including food truck alley and lots of activities, like a rock climbing wall) were among the tweaks to the 2025 edition. That’s in line with the City and our co-organizers at Stonecreek Church recurring effort to top ourselves annually to offer an event better organized and more enjoyable experience.
