On the first Thursday evening of every month, join your neighbors at Crabapple LIVE – a new, fun, family-friendly, altogether appetizing event in Milton’s downtown.
The inaugural edition will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on May 1st, with the excitement occurring in the garden area behind Milton’s Cuisine and Cocktails (close to the eastern part of Heritage Walk). This event is being run for our community by that beloved local institution as well as Market District Crabapple – a distinctive commercial area featuring restaurants, studios, offices, and more – with the City of Milton serving as a promotional partner.
Visitors can listen to live music, take a yoga class, or bring their little ones to a “Kids Zone” featuring age-appropriate activities. Crabapple LIVE also aims to be a haven for people to love art and those who love creating it, including “plein air” painters who will set up their easels on the grass to paint live outdoors.
Attendees can also fill up on food and beverages while circulating amid tents set up around the event space. Confirmed establishments for all six events of the 2025 season include:
- Hyde Brewing (a microbrewery at 3300 Heritage Walk that serves food from Ceviche)
- Milton’s Cuisine and Cocktails (offering a memorable farm-to-table-plus experience)
- Painted Horse Winery and Vineyards (which calls 13762 Hopewell Road home)
- PlayWell Merch Co. (featuring custom apparel and products of many types)
- Suite 200 (a “redefined club level sports grille” in Market District Crabapple)
- Vice Steak Bar and Smash Burgers by Vice (two new restaurants also in Market District)
Crabapple residents can walk to the festivities, or anyone can drive and park nearby (like at Market District or Milton’s, with valet parking available as well). Milton Police will be on hand to ensure that pedestrians can safely cross whatever streets.
Whether they spend 15 minutes or the full three hours, we’re confident people can have a great time in this cool, relaxed, uniquely Milton atmosphere. And as with similar monthly outdoor events in North Georgia, this one can thrive most of the year. Six editions are now scheduled – May 1, June 5, July 3, August 7, September 4, and October 2 – right up until chilly weather comes in.
So bring your family, tell your friends, and meet us downtown next Thursday for Crabapple LIVE!
