“Meet the Neighbors” – Milton celebration-of-all-things-horses event – will NOT take place as scheduled on Saturday because of expected wet weather.

This City event was set to occur between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on May 10 in the City’s 21-plus acre greenspace at the intersection of Freemanville and Birmingham roads. Unfortunately, the forecast recently turned for the worst (meaning: wetter).

 

Heavy, persistent, soaking rains could have made things unpleasant for attendees and vendors alike. Beyond that, they could have made it difficult for vehicles to get in-and-out of parking areas on grassy and potentially very muddy parts of the property.

 

We are looking into when and how “Meet the Neighbors” might be rescheduled later this year. Until then, we’re sorry if this weather cancelation impacts anyone’s weekend plans. Hopefully things will clear up and be beautiful for all or at least some of Mother’s Day.
