All candidates to be on the ballot in the City of Milton's Municipal Election must file a "Notice of Candidacy" during the Qualifying Period. Dates for the Qualifying Period in Milton -- like with other local governments across Georgia -- are set by the State.

Qualifying will take place at City Hall between Monday, August 18, and Friday, August 22, during these hours:

• 8:30 a.m. to Noon
• 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The seats up for election this election cycle are:

• Mayor
• City Council District 1, Post 1
• City Council District 2, Post 1
• City Council District 3, Post 1
