Touch-a-Truck is back on the first Saturday of September – a beloved event at which families can explore cool vehicles, savor delicious food, and partake in plenty of fun-filled activities.
Put on by the City of Milton and our partners at Stonecreek Church, the 2025 edition of Touch-a-Truck will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 6. (A special sensory-friendly hour – exclusively for those with special needs who can best experience this event without buzzing crowds – will be from 9 to 10 a.m., so one hour before the official opening.)
For several years running, Touch-a-Truck has drawn thousands of visitors to the Stonecreek Church parking lot (13540 Highway 9) who check out vehicles of all shapes and sizes. This year’s line-up includes a:
- NASCAR pace car
- Storage pod and moving truck
- Monster truck
- Fire engine, police patrol car, SWAT vehicle, and ambulance
- Makeover party bus
- Tree-trimming crane
… and a whole lot more.
There will be no shortage of non-vehicular activities either. For example, children can jump on giant inflatables, accessorize their hair,
order a twisted balloon, and even spend time in the presence of a surprise (typically cartoon) guest star.
Given that the timeframe overlaps with lunch time, thankfully, people can fill their bellies at the event. Whether you want a holey donut or a round cheeseburger, hot coffee or a chilly popsicle, tacos or tasty treats from an ice cream truck, or something else entirely, you will have culinary options to choose from.
Parking and shuttle service will be provided to-and-from King’s Ridge Christian School (2765 Bethany Bend). There will also be some parking, until spots fill up, at the Milton Public Safety Complex and the office complex next to Stonecreek Church – as well as some on Stonecreek’s campus.
It takes a village to stage community events, and the City is especially thankful to the generous sponsors who are helping make this
Touch-a-Truck happen.
The highest-level supporters are the Butler Swayne Real Estate Team, Chandler Law, New Leaf Chiropractic, Painted Horse Winery, and Reid Casey Real Estate Team.
The City also appreciates Stonecreek’s Camp Arrowhead, Little Sunshine’s Playhouse daycare, Mighty Dog Roofing, Nova Chiropractic, Red Wing Shoes, and Stable Orthodontics for their own sponsorships. Bach to Rock, Ganek title company, Goldfish Swim School, and Karate Atlanta will offer in-kind, on-site support.
We are excited to see families at Stonecreek Church on September 6! If you have questions about this or other Milton community events, contact the City’s Community Outreach Manager Emily Salerno at Emily.Salerno@miltonga.gov.
