Milton is full of difference makers. Heart lifters. Change agents. And masters of making the world, and our community specifically, that much better.
And we’d appreciate your help in celebrating them.
The City is seeking nominations for its Horseshoe of Service Volunteer of the Year Awards. These honors recognize outstanding individuals and groups who have positively impacted people and places in the Milton area.
For more information on the eligibility requirements and to nominate someone, visit www.miltonga.gov/VolunteerOfTheYear.
The exceptional people who qualify for these awards have dedicated their time and effort to substantially contribute in one way or another within Milton city limits or part of a Milton-based program or group.
The process of recommending someone worthy of earning an award, though, is much less time-consuming. It consists of a few basic background requests plus a field to “explain why this person/group deserves a volunteer appreciation award.”
The deadline to submit a nomination is October 10. The awards will be given out during a Volunteer Appreciation event in City Hall sometime in November.
