This impactful online offering once again will be co-hosted by the City of Milton and the LRJ Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing support, education, and resources related to mental health. Titled “From Heartache to Growth: Understanding Trauma, Grief, and the Power of Support,” the webinar will start at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16.
On it, Maddie and Riley Paul will talk to LRJ Foundation co-founder Teressa Ruspi about their painful struggles following their father’s suicide. The Paul sisters will discuss their challenges as well as the philosophy, tools, and lessons that they have leaned on to help themselves psychologically in light of their family’s sudden tragic loss.
The webinar will also feature experts from Alpharetta-based JCACounseling. Among them is Ginny Vose, a Certified Traumatologist who works to empower survivors of all sorts of trauma – be they children or first responders and many others in between. Another is Rachel Brunelle, a Certified Grief Therapist with experience supporting women, teens, young adults, and couples.
