Crabapple Fest the place to be for family-friendly fun in early October

Post Date:09/16/2025 6:55 PM

#Street 9Mark your calendars for October 4 – the date of Milton’s most popular event, Crabapple Fest!

The fall arts, antiques, and a whole lot more festival returns to downtown Milton from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. that Saturday. The 2025 edition will feature many old favorites as well as numerous new offerings.

Once more, an array of vendors will line up along Crabapple Road between Broadwell Road/Birmingham Highway and the Heritage Walk roundabout. This will be the place to pick up one-of-a-kind gifts, custom kitchen creations, hand-crafted art pieces to wear and display, and many other types of must-have items.

The culinary options will be about as plentiful, and even more flavorful. Swing by multiple spots for a chill drink, a worldly dish, a sweet treat, a meaty meal, or something else delicious in between.

There will be activities galore as well, like grooving to live music performed on Crabapple Dentistry’s front porch to watching college football #Kids Zoneand playing lawn games by Crabapple Market’s Green. A short walk from there you will find the Children’s Entrepreneur Market, where young, creative business types on their own will sell special items all their own.

Whether it involves buying, selling, playing, or smiling, Crabapple Fest is about fun for the entire family. The younger set will be especially thrilled in the Kid Zone. Set up in the City Hall parking lot, this will feature a pirate ship ride, bounce house, carnival games trailer, face painting, sand art, balloon twisting, and then some.

Crabapple Road will shut down in both directions (from Heritage Walk to Broadwell Road) around 10 a.m. on Friday, October 3, so vendors can set up. It should reopen to all traffic on Saturday evening, with Heritage Walk serving as the detour route until that happens.

Parking will mirror that of previous years, with spots available at Milton Community Church (12760 Birmingham Highway), Crabapple Crossing #Family IceconesElementary School (12775 Birmingham Highway), Northwestern Middle School (12805 Birmingham Highway), and Milton High School (13025 Birmingham Highway). Shuttles will run to-and-from these parking locations and Alpharetta Government Center at the corner of Broadwell and Crabapple roads.

Special thanks to our generous Crabapple Fest sponsors! They start with two powerhouse real estate groups – HOME Luxury Real Estate and The Jenny Doyle Group, both of which know and love Milton very well – at the top level. Those agencies are complimented by silver-level sponsors in Dermatology Specialists of Georgia and Aqua Medical Spa, Williams and Williams Law Firm, and Truist Mortgate Loan Officer Brant Gilmore. And we’d remiss if we didn’t offer special appreciation for Crabapple Market, which provides top-level support in so many ways (not to mention parts of the event site).

While Crabapple Fest has drawn upwards of 30,000 people in the past, ultimately this is a quintessential community event. So we hope you and your family (leashed dogs welcome) can join your awesome neighbors in having a great time this October 4 in Milton!
