The Citizens Government Academy is looking for a few more curious, engaged individuals to listen, learn, and interact with people from all across Milton’s government.

Also known as CGA, the Citizens Government Academy offers people in Milton a behind-the-scenes look at every aspect of our municipal operations. Over eight weeks, participants will visit various City facilities and engage firsthand with people from every Milton department. As countless past graduates will attest, this is a great opportunity to really get to know what your government does, how it functions, what drives its members’ actions, as well who makes it all happen.

This program has been popular over the years, such that the 2026 class roster already consists of many who wanted to join in the past but could not join due to limited space. There are currently a handful of openings, though these will likely fill up fast. So those interested should apply sooner rather than later.
