Phillips Road – which runs between Mountain Road and Hopewell Road in northern Milton – will be down to a single lane for the next month or so for the installation of a water main pipe.

Fulton County Water Services is handling this project, just as it oversees water services around Milton. The work is expected to start around Tuesday, January 13, and run through the middle of February. Weather and other factors may push back that end date, as is standard with such projects.

While Phillips Road isn’t one of Milton’s busier roads, we wanted to make people aware especially as this will go on for several weeks.

The good news is that people should still be able to traverse this road, but just one direction at a time with flaggers directing traffic. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding!
