Milton is proud of its storied equestrian community made up of exceptional athletes, trainers, contributors, an array of professionals, and difference-makers of all types. And we want the world to know about them.

That’s why we are creating an “Equestrian Spotlight,” which will be a regular social media feature showcasing past and present individuals who have found success in the horse-riding world. Some of them have made their mark on their sport’s biggest stages. Others are stars closer to home as important players, in whatever shape or form, within Milton’s extended equestrian family.

If there’s someone you think would be worth highlighting – and, yes, people are welcome to nominate themselves – go to www.miltonga.gov/EquestrianSpotlight. On that page, you’ll find a form where you can enter basic info, explain the nominee’s accomplishments, and share photos. There’s also space (should you be so inclined, know the answers, etc.) to enter other fun, relevant, insightful information and context that can make each Spotlight even more interesting and engaging.

Submitted applications will go to Milton Equestrian Committee members, who will work with City staff to generate a regular social media feature. We expect to post the first of those on the City’s Facebook page in the coming months.
