Legacy Park will close in the coming weeks for anticipated work not on its fields, but on its parking area.

Milton’s City Council at its June 1 meeting approved a construction contract with Summit Construction and Development to undertake this project. With that in place, crews should begin work sometime later in June  to reconfigure Legacy Park’s parking lot to make it easier to navigate while roughly doubling the number spaces. Stormwater-related improvements as well as removing, then replacing the park’s septic system part of this same project.

For several reasons – for their safety and because there will be no way to get in-and-out – residents cannot use this athletic complex off Cox Road (near where it intersects Arnold Mill Road) while the work is underway. The hope is that everything should be completed and reopen by September 2026.
