Area contractors and others in the building field are invited to a free educational workshop this Thursday at City Hall.

Chief Building Official Gary Mullinix will lead these two sessions on June 11 in Council Chambers:

• Legal Aspects of Code Administration (1-3 p.m.)
• Fastening Building Materials (3-4 p.m.)

These sessions reflect the City’s commitment to providing the building material know-how to get up-to-speed on Milton processes and ensure their compliance of their projects. Attendees can earn CEU certificates for attending these ICC certified seminars. 

While there’s no cost to attend. Space may be limited, so those who would plan to come should email Mullinix at gary.mullinix@miltonga.gov in advance so the City can make preparations.
