Thank you to all who shared their thoughts, concerns, questions, and suggestions regarding the multifaceted effort to improve pedestrian safety and alleviate congestion along the southern portion of Birmingham Highway (near Crabapple Crossing Elementary, Northwestern Middle, and Milton High School). Each and every public comment matters, which is why the City’s project team prioritized listening to and processing each one.
Now it’s time to move to the next phase of this project: designing improvements to make this area better and safer for pedestrians and drivers alike. We’ll keep you posted about those plans here on the City’s Facebook, our website, as well as our various other communications channels. Actual construction would not happen for several more years.
