Every September, Touch-a-Truck is a hugely popular, family friendly, and downright fun event in the Deerfield section of Milton.
And we’re looking for food vendors, activity experts, and, yes, those with cool vehicles – trucks included – to be a part of it.
To learn more and apply, go to https://www.eventeny.com/events/milton-touchatruck-2026-26758/. The deadline to get your submission in is July 31.
This year’s event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (plus a special sensory-friendly hour from 9-10 a.m.) on Saturday, September 12. It’ll take place in the parking lot of Stonecreek Church, which partners with the City in running this event.
Thousands attend each year to check out a wide array of trucks, cars, and other vehicles (even a helicopter and the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile in the past). Kids and their parents love both looking at these items and interacting with those behind them, including police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and many more.
Yet Milton’s Touch-a-Truck is far more than trucks. There are also plenty of other activities such as giant inflatables, games, and more. Companies that offering something family-friendly along these lines can apply to participate using the link above.
The same goes for operators of food and treat trucks. This event, after all, overlaps with lunch time and will many no doubt hungry children and adults.
Businesses that don’t necessarily fit into any of the application categories but still want to be involved can sponsor Touch-a-Truck. There are several sponsorship options, each of which gives your business brand different levels of exposure.
Those interested in being a sponsor can email Milton’s Community Outreach Manager Emily Salerno at emily.salerno@miltonga.gov. People with questions about the vendor and vehicle application described above can contact Emily as well.
