Are you a rising high school senior who has volunteered their time to make a difference in our community?

Then keep track of your volunteer hours while keeping in mind that you might qualify for the City’s Senior Service Award. 

This will be the second year of a program aimed at celebrating dedicated teenagers who have impacted our world in ways big and small. It’s open to graduating seniors who call Milton home with two award levels – silver for those who volunteered 225 hours over the course of their high school career and gold for those who amassed at least 250 hours. (Most of those hours should be in service to organization that serves Milton residents in some form.)

The deadline to apply isn’t until the end of March 2027. So if you don’t have enough volunteers to qualify yet, it’s all good; you still have time! Still, we wanted to give people a heads-up sooner rather than later so they can plan this (including counting and documenting hours) into their senior year.
