Milton is the #2 best place to live in Georgia.

That’s according to Home Snacks, a list-making publication with about 1.1 million readers. They utilize official government data, in this case primarily from the U.S. Census and FBI, to rate places nationwide across a range of categories.

The publication cited Milton’s high quality of life and low crime, as well as strong economic numbers when it comes to household income and unemployment.  Our city had an overall score of 9 (on a 1-to-10 scale), scoring particularly high on education, housing, diversity, and safety. (Our lowest mark? Commuting times.) 

Of course, none of this surprises those of us who live in Milton. (Do you know what is surprising? Why we weren’t #1!) We love it here – even if many prefer to keep what’s so wonderful about this place on the downlow. 

No doubt, Milton is an amazing place to call home.
