Milton is served by six Councilmembers and a mayor, each of whom are elected for four-year terms.

Milton's City Council meets on the the first and third Mondays of each month, barring holidays, at 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers, which are located in 2006 Heritage Walk.

City Council also generally holds work sessions the second Monday of the month at the same time and place.


Mayor

Milton residents elected Peyton Jamison as the City's second mayor, and he took office in January 2022. He was re-elected four years later to a second term.
