Milton's seven-member Parks and Recreation Advisory Board -- commonly referred to as PRAB -- reviews and offers guidance related to the City's parks and recreation system. Specifically, the Board:

• Advises City staff, the Mayor and City Council members about needs, wants and advice pertaining to parks facilities and recreation activities in Milton
• Recommends rules, policies and programs for children and adults to ensure safety as well as optimal use and enjoyment for Milton citizens 
• Helps define fiscal policies that are fair, effective, and necessary to fund programs and maintain facilities, such as establishing fees and charges

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board convenes on the third Thursday of every month in City Hall's Council Chambers. The meeting times, which may vary month-to-month, can be found on the City website calendar at www.miltonga.gov/residents/calendar. All meetings are open to the public.
