Brian Dolan joined the City Council in January 2026, his latest in a long line of efforts to make a difference in the community. 

A prime illustration is the decade that Dolan served as Chairperson of the Milton First Responders Foundation, a volunteer-run non-profit that earnestly and effectively supports City firefighters and police officers. Under his watch, MFRF significantly increased its fundraising as well as its positive impact in numerous ways, such as helping with training, purchasing motorcycles, and giving sizable Kroger gift cards to support every Milton first responder and their families around the holidays. Dolan has been actively involved in other charitable organizations as well, including helping raise money for causes like supporting people with cystic fibrosis, finding a cure for ALS, and fighting childhood cancer.

Professionally, Dolan rose to executive leadership roles in the telecommunications and high-tech industries. He brings critical skills in consulting, sales, contract negotiation, client service, and organizational performance throughout his 37 years in business. A member of the Milton Business Council, he now works in real estate at the award-winning Dolan Group at Ansley Real Estate agency alongside his wife, Lara. 

The Dolans have two daughters, both Milton High and college graduates, and currently call the Crabapple area home.
